Men have it easy sometimes.
Why do I say this?
Well, earlier this month I was asked to do a podcast with an old student of mine (Dr. Jen Hacker).
Jen came to me when she had postnatal depression.
And after helping her integrate meditation into her life…
She completely turned her mental state around.
Now she is on a mission to help mothers thrive through motherhood!
As you could imagine though, it was super exciting for me to go live with her.
But here’s the thing, because we discussed topics such as:
✔️Jens' mental crash after having her third baby and how creating a quiet space helped her become a better mum.
✔️ How meditation can help you thrive in motherhood.
✔️ What I was surprised to find out when attending prenatal classes.
✔️ Things we undervalue in our lives and how we do it without realizing.
✔️ Most common problem found in mothers and how focusing inward is the key to fixing it.
(Plus SO much more)
… I came away thinking, man… men have it easy during the early stages of childhood!Especially after reflecting on my wife’s ability to breastfeed twins…
Almost six times a night while she meditated.
(yes that’s right, while she meditated… superwoman if you ask me)
Quite an informative podcast to say the least, with so many insights and new ways…
To look at motherhood and parenting in general.
I suggest you check it out, it's only 30-minutes and is jammed packed with value.
